99 Toys was an exercise in photorealism with toys of all shapes and sizes. These toys collected over many years by the artist's children, made an interesting composition when photographed in their container and later painted on a large canvas! The original oil painting was 48"x 72" and took many months to complete! Influenced by his time working on photorealist paintings in NYC for Jeff Koons, "99 Toys" was an exciting challenge for Tyndall. The painting was exhibited widely before it's final sale through the Robert Kidd Gallery in Birmingham, Michigan. It was purchased by a Detroit collector!
